A family should be a safe-heaven for kids, not something that kidnaps them.
Since earlier this Monday, an Amber Alert was issued for two missing children from Central Texas. The children are considered to have been abducted by several people and everyone in the area is asked by the authorities to be on the lookout or to notify them if any they have any information about the children immediately.
The two kids were last seen on Thursday in Whitney and are believed to be in grave danger. The children are Lulamae Ann King of the age of 5, 3’5” high and weighs around 40 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Her brother, Deondre King is 6 years old and is a bit taller, 4’0” at 45 lbs. with the same black hair and brown eyes as his little sister.
Police officers have claimed that the children were with Clifford Ray King Jr. of 41 and 27-year-old Cristal Chauntell Taylor. They were seen driving in a white 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier with the Texas license plate bearing the numbers BV8205. As of yesterday, Clifford Ray Jr. has been apprehended by the authorities and is currently being questioned the police while being detained. The car has been found abandoned in Dallas, with no sign of the kids or Cristal Taylor who is 5’4” at around 109 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Even though Cristal Chauntell Taylor is the biological mother of the two, she does not have custody of them. At this point, she is believed to be driving along with Lulamae and Deondre towards Oklahoma in an unidentified vehicle.
Anyone who has seen either the children or the woman is asked by the police to immediately call the Hill County Sheriff’s Office at 254-582-5313 or simply call 911.
According to the United States Department of Justice, almost 75% of children who were abducted by strangers have been found dead or are still missing to this day. This slightly improves the two children’s chance of survival due to the fact that Cristal Taylor is their biological mother, but authorities still claim that both Lulamae and Deondre are in grave danger.
Up to this day almost 667 children were saved due to the existence of the AMBER alert, a program which basically employs the help of the public at large in order to gain information about both the abductors and the abductees at a much faster rate, making everyone that helps them become the eyes and ears of the program.
Hopefully, the two will be located soon so that the Amber Alert that was issued for the two missing children from Central Texas will be lifted.
