Samsung announced its new Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge.
Samsung announced that it would reveal its latest Blue Coral S7 Edge, an option which has been used to the Note 7 model. Although this model turned out to be a fiasco, the company has come with a different approach by using the Blue Coral to enhance the S7 edge.
With this feature, Samsung aims to tackle the competition. More precisely, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus didn’t retain the Space Gray and replaced it with the matte standard black which prevents scratches and fingerprints.
Apart from the matte black, the company introduced a new Jet Black hue backed by a glossy black case made of aluminum. The two iPhone variants became high-demand products immediately after the release.
Samsung experienced the same popularity with the Blue Coral Note 7, but this turned out to be a bit of a drawback because a lot of customers had to wait a few weeks to get a unit.
The company aims to boost its sales by using this hue on the Galaxy S7 edge. This way, disappointed Note 7 customers will have the chance to purchase a reliable product which features their favorite color.
It is worth mentioning that Samsung and Apple have the largest customer-based communities. This hue consists of a light blue color used on the rear and front, whereas the model will have rose gold around the sides.
The Blue Coral S7 edge comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display (dual-edge curved) backed by a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution. Needless to say that this model is dust and water-resistant.
Regarding photo quality, it has a 12-megapixel main shooter with OIS, 4K video option, and autofocus. Plus, this smartphone has a 5-megapixel selfie cam which can be used for video calls as well.
This version will come with an Android update compared with the standard model, as it will run on the 7.0 Nougat version. Under the hood, it has 4 GB of RAM and ann Adreno 530 GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The Blue Coral S7 edge will come in two variants with 32GB as well as 64GB of built-in internal storage, while the model also supports a microSD card slot of maximum 256GB. Other features include a 3,600 mAh power source.
