The Best Airport in the World Will Offer Automated Check-In Services Based on Facial Recognition
Therefore, customers are going to enjoy automated check-ins that use facial scanners and recognition to offer clearance. This technology is part of the Fast and Seamless Travel or FAST system. It will accompany passengers to everything they need to do to board a flight, including immigration clearance. On top of that, they will no longer have to take their laptops out of their bags thanks to tomography scanners.
The project cost a total of $985 million and has two stories. Nonetheless, it is the smallest segment within the Changi Airport. Despite this, it can accommodate an impressive number of 16 million passengers at a time. Therefore, Terminal 4 will increase the general capacity of the entire airport to 82 million passengers a year.
The new edifice will also tickle public’s excitement for art. The building is hosting a mini-theatre show which was created in collaboration with composer Dick Lee. On top of that, the interior designs have orchids as the main theme which reminds of the local culture.
