It Seems That We Will Have a Galaxy S7 Active This Year Too

galaxy s7 activeA new Samsung application has confirmed the production of another smart phone from the Korean giant, namely the S7 Active model in the Galaxy series. The previously unidentified device is showed in a big list of reinforced gadgets for Google’s Play Store and that are compatible with the Samsung Level application.

The Active line of Galaxy smart phones appeared as a necessity for a certain segment of dynamic users. It was first showed up three years ago as a water resistant and ruggedized form of the organization’s premium device, the Galaxy S4.

Every edition of its “S” series since then has been complemented by the Active edition. The main issue is that Samsung included one of its Active line’s main advantages, the dust and water proof features, in its common Galaxy S7 phones.

If we assume that the Galaxy S7 Active will be really produced, the company will have to concentrate its advertising efforts on the resilient frame. Another main marketing advantage would be bringing an improved IP ranking for water or shock resistance.

Another strong feature of past Active designs was their better battery power pack. The Galaxy S6 Active featured a hefty 3,500-mAh capacity instead of the normal 2,800-mAh battery found in the regular S6. It is probable that the producer will provide a longer battery lifespan in its S7 Active model, but durability is a minor issue in the S7 in comparison to past versions.

The last distinction between these gadgets, apart from the larger form factor, will maybe be represented by hardware buttons placed outside the display. The Active line has typically incorporated three control keys below the screen, instead than a single hardware and a pair of capacitive buttons.

This is not the first rumor about a new Active model ready to be launched in the next months. These past weeks, some sources said in their posts on Twitter that the new rugged phone will be carry-named SM-G891A.

Obviously, since the S7 Active version has been listed in the outline of Samsung’s official apps for Play Store gives more reliability to these speculations, and the only thing losing is operate statement. Anyway, if the new rugged phones arrive in the massive US market in the next months, it is likely that they will be offered mainly via AT&T.

This is because that the above mentioned mobile provider has constantly been willing to provide the Samsung Active versions in its shops.
