According to the official police report, on the 21st of November 2017, Seth Carreras went to Hunter Woodson’s house in order to consume marijuana. At the time of Woodson’s murder, the victim’s girlfriend was also present in the house.
Seth’s affidavit reveals that after smoking for a while, Woodson, 19, asked him if he wanted to buy some pot. The 17-year-old agreed and went back to his vehicle in order to get the money needed for the transaction.
Woodson’s girlfriend declared that she was present during the transaction and that Seth asked for 1.5 ounces, which was more than Woodson could offer. After leaving the house, Woodson asked her girlfriend to wait for Seth outside while he attempts to fool him.
While his girlfriend talked to Seth outside, Woodson went to the kitchen, grabbed all the spices he could find and mixed them in a bag which will he then pass to Seth as marijuana. Woodson’s girlfriend offered Seth the bag and took his money.
However, the teen quickly realized that he’s been duped and started to act violently. Woodson’s girlfriend went back inside the house to warn him, and Seth followed.
The girl told the authorities that Carreras got out his gun and fired several shots at Woodson. Seth searched the man’s pockets and shot him a couple of more times before fleeing. Woodson’s girlfriend alerted the authorities which caught Carreras at his home.
Seth’s family was present during the teen’s trial and declared that he looked proud of what he did.
