Microsoft is all geared up to launch the first windows Phone of Nokia Lumia. The notable things here is that the new handset will carry the brand name of Microsoft Lumia instead of Nokia.
The biggest tech giant has not yet unveiled other details of the upcoming device. It merely stated that the new Lumia phone will offer the power of everyday mobile technology to everyone. This particular statement indicates that it intends to release the new smartphone at a really reasonable price.
Tuula Rytila, senior vice President of the company announced that the new phone will not make the previous model of Nokia Lumia an out dated one.
Thus Far, the entire range of Lumia products gained the attention of customers with its colorful design and high resolution camera.
It appears like this is a new strategy of Microsoft to take a grip on the smartphone markets. Unfortunately, the Windows Mobile products are relatively less popular among buyers as compared to the other mobile operating systems. Therefore, Microsoft tries really hard to make a well-defined place in the line of other smartphones.
Recently, the firm has launched a teaser of the new device on its previous blog which is known as Nokia Conversation blog. It seems like the firm has forgotten to rename this blog.
Moreover, a few rumors suggest that the new hand set will come with a massive five inch display. The company will power the device with a 1.2Hz Snapdragon 200 chip set processor. However, the new Microsoft Lumia will offer 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The storage size of the device is pretty similar to the Lumia 635.
