Russian Hackers inserted bug in Microsoft Windows in order to keep an eye on the computers of NATO, European Union and other government offices.
iSight Partners, a computer security firm of Dallas revealed this shocking news in a recent report. The company stated that they are still trying to find out the data which hackers were looking for. However, speculations are that Hackers searched for confidential information and details related to the Ukraine crises.
These unlawful activities begin in 2009 since then hackers used several methods in order to get access to secret information.
Furthermore, the company notified that the hackers exploited the bug which is generally known as zero days. They started this Window hacking mission at the end of summer.
Shortly after this revelation the company informed Microsoft Corp so that it can get rid of this bug as soon as possible. Hence, the software maker immediately launched a new update to repair the latest damage.
Nonetheless, the government officials refused to make any comment on this situation.
Moreover, the company figured out with the help of the language and clues that the hackers belong to Russia. However, they are not yet aware that whether the Hackers were associated with Russian government or not.
Nevertheless, all the hints point out towards the involvement of the government as these hackers were spies.
