A group of researchers claimed that they discovered a signal coded in the X-Rays which originate from two bright objects.
Scientists believe that they discovered a thing which can give insight about the existence of dark matter. They think that these signals are emanating from the dark matter. If all the assumptions of scientists come true then it would be considered as the first concrete evidence of the dark matter.
Experts of the Swiss laboratory of Particle Physics and Cosmology (LPPC) along with researchers of Dutch Leiden University carefully examined all kinds of signals. They analyzed the signals of galaxies present in the constellation Perseus. They study reveals that every atom contains a particular pattern and spectrum of light. This specific pattern permits astronomers to determine the composition of stars and planets.
However, researchers observed a few strange spikes in the galaxies of Andromeda and Perseus. Later on, scientists believe that these spikes are linked with the dark matter. It is a kind of matter which can only be traced through its gravitational effect.
Dr. Alexey Boyarsky, a researcher of Leiden University stated that scientists were really eager to find dark matter. Therefore, the findings of LLPC provide the first evidence of dark matter.
Scientists are certain that the new breakthrough discovery will help them to understand the formation of dark matter and creation of Universe.
The report will probably print in the next week’s Journal Physics Review Letters.
