In an effort to gain a first round pick and get Mike Unger for the New Orleans Saints have decided to trade their tight end Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks. The Saints are struggling with salary caps and are looking for some relief. Currently, they are over by about $16 million. One of the perks of trading Graham is being able to free up some money. The Saints will have to trade off a few more players but are excited to get Unger in return. The Seahawks are $22 million under budget so paying for graham should be no problem.
On the other hand, the Seahawks are looking to add another receiving threat to work with quarterback Russell Wilson. The Seahawks are looking to score a third appearance at the Super bowl. Graham didn’t participate with the Saints during the 2014 offseason. Even while suffering an injury, Graham was able to score 10 touchdowns and rush for 889 yards. Graham had his own controversies with players form the Seahawks in a playoff game. These players will now all be teammates and fans will look to see how well they all mesh together during the upcoming season.
