sony playstation vrAt just a few days after saying that its PlayStation VR system will be released in Oct at a price of $400, Sony has added that an exclusive launch package would go on pre-selling in the United States starting next week.

While the company’s PlayStation VR headset has attracted major interest thanks to its rather low cost as opposed to other devices like Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. Numerous customers suggested that the price of PS VR was in fact more appropriate for this type of gadgets, because people would have purchase accessories like cameras or motion trackers.

This is an element that Sony lately solved, via its $500 package that brings a PlayStation digicam and a pair of movement controllers. The package, Sony states, is only offered for pre-selling and in restricted promotions.

People will be capable to get the bundle from any supplier where it is rumored to appear at, like GameStop or Best Buy and many others. The package contains all elements promoted in Sony’s official presentations and that can provide the best VR experience.

As an extra offer, Sony is also tossing it PS VR Worlds to complete the gaming set. This comes besides the free Playroom VR software that all Sony VR customers will get. However, Sony has not yet detailed when this $400 main package, with the VR device, wires, headset and a VR trial disk, will be offered for pre-sale.

Their release bundle appears to be more designed for non-PlayStation users who have not already spent money on sideline components. Meanwhile, the main bundle will probably attract people who are currently using other PlayStation products.

In addition to that, it will not be so surprising if the producer ultimately uncovers some type of super package later in time and that has the PlayStation gaming console too. The pre-selling for the PS VR release will start in the morning of Mar 22 at the authorized suppliers. It could also include Canadian sellers too, where it may be obtained for $750 CAD.

This procedure is in fact the only method in which people can pre-order their PlayStation VR for ulterior purchasing. The $400 primary item is not available for pre-ordering independently and even after it is available, customers will still have to purchase a PS camera if they do not have ordered one already.

As Sony declared, there could be another pre-order period over summer this season for clients who did not have a chance to reserve one. Sony’s PlayStation VR package will be available all over the globe by fall, so make sure follow the tech sites and their opinions about Sony’s virtual reality device in order to find the latest details about it.
