Sony has revealed PlayStation Vue that can work without the conventional satellite or cable services. However, the company will provide Catch-up and on demand T.V along with the popular programming.
The Japanese firm intends to introduce the cloud based T.V service on PlaySation 4 and PlayStation 3 as well. Later on, Sony will launch it for iPad and other products available in the markets.
As per the announcement of Sony, the users can effortlessly get hold of the device without any contract or additional charges. It will be offered on month to month basis with no cancellation fine.
The new PlayStation Vue will let viewers record their favorite shows on the cloud. In addition, the users can view these shows for more than 28 days.
Sony initiated this new product with 75 different channels along with the programming of few networks such as Discovery, Fox, NBC Universal, Scripps Networks, Interactive, and Viacom. Nonetheless, Sony declared that it will offer rest of the networks like Time Warner and Disney sometimes in the future. Currently, the firm is talking about the terms and conditions of agreement with other partners.
The device will touch the shelves of the markets till the first quarter of 2015. Nevertheless, Sony has not yet proclaimed whether the PlayStation Vue will be released for the other countries like Australia and Canada or not.
