The European Space Agency (ESA) marked a new history with its landing on a comet. However, the lander is now resting behind the shadow of a cliff with dead batteries.
At the beginning of this month, the ESA’s Rosetta landed its Philae probe on the surface of the comet. The agency informed that the Lander bounced pretty badly after it touched the surface of the comet. Therefore, the successful landing was certainly a big surprise to the scientists.
Fortunately, the lander utilized the every last bit of its batteries to send all the precious data back to Earth. Thus far, the data of lander verified the presence of organic molecules on the surface of the comet. However, these findings will solve several mysteries of the origin of species and the creation of the solar system.
The robotic space probe started its long journey in 2004. It rotated nearly 4 billion miles before it came across the comet.
Recently, Matt Taylor, a Britisher appeared on television in order to reveal some significant information related to probe’s landing. The guy wore a tacky shirt in that interview. Surprisingly, the shirt gained a lot more attention as compared to the interview.
Unfortunately, people considered that shirt as a representation of culture of casual sexism. A few people tried to defend Taylor and stated that he can wear whatever he likes to. However, even this sensible comment failed to save Taylor from the criticisms.
Later on, the guy explained that it was his lucky shirt. As we all are aware that internet users never listen to lame excuses. Hence, people bombarded all the social networking sites with nasty comments regarding that guy’s choice of shirt.
On the other hand, a group on internet argued that a person should dress well when he represents an organization.
