Philae Probe Scientist Faced Criticism for His T-Shirt

November 20, 2014 By Germaine Hicks Leave a Comment

scientist faced criticism for its Shirt

The European Space Agency (ESA) marked a new history with its landing on a comet.  However, the lander is now resting behind the shadow of a cliff with dead batteries.

At the beginning of this month, the ESA’s Rosetta landed its Philae probe on the surface of the comet. The agency informed that the Lander bounced pretty badly after it touched the surface of the comet. Therefore, the successful landing was certainly a big surprise to the scientists.

Fortunately, the lander utilized the every last bit of its batteries to send all the precious data back to Earth. Thus far, the data of lander verified the presence of organic molecules on the surface of the comet. However, these findings will solve several mysteries of the origin of species and the creation of the solar system.

The robotic space probe started its long journey in 2004. It rotated nearly 4 billion miles before it came across the comet.

Recently, Matt Taylor, a Britisher appeared on television in order to reveal some significant information related to probe’s landing. The guy wore a tacky shirt in that interview. Surprisingly, the shirt gained a lot more attention as compared to the interview.

Unfortunately, people considered that shirt as a representation of culture of casual sexism. A few people tried to defend Taylor and stated that he can wear whatever he likes to. However, even this sensible comment failed to save Taylor from the criticisms.

Later on, the guy explained that it was his lucky shirt. As we all are aware that internet users never listen to lame excuses. Hence, people bombarded all the social networking sites with nasty comments regarding that guy’s choice of shirt.

On the other hand, a group on internet argued that a person should dress well when he represents an organization.

Robert O’Neill, Former SEAL Claimed He Shot Osama Bin Laden

Recently, Fox News took an exclusive interview of Robert O’Neill, former Navy SEAL who claimed he shot Osama Bin Laden. He explained how he looked into the Al Qaeda leader eyes before he killed him.

Former Navy SEAL who has come forward openly to discuss the May 2011 raid on bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, stated he was most likely the last person bin Laden saw.

“He was standing 2 feet in front of me, hand on his wife, the face I have seen 1000’s times. I thought, ‘We got him, we just ended the war.'” O’Neill stated.

“Osama Bin Laden looked into my eyes before I shot him dead,” O’Neill said. I was the very first person in the SEAL team to go in bin Laden’s bedroom on the raid’s night. Bin Laden apparently attempted to defend himself with his youngest wife before he was shot.

About ten years-long manhunt for the man who planned the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C has ended. But I am still trying to puzzle out whether it was the best thing I ever did or the worst one,” O’Neill added.

Though, O’Neill is bearing some long term consequences after the raid, which he told to Esquire (that didn’t name him) last year. He got separated from his wife and now struggling to pay bills.

In addition, some disputes regarding who actually fired the shot that killed Osama Bin Laden were roaming around. “O’Neill did not fire the fatal shot,” claimed by an anonymous source who was close to another member of the SEAL team that carried out the raid.

“Two leaders of US Naval Special Warfare Command sent a letter to their team members on 31st Oct, two days after the Fox interview was announced, in which they attacked any SEAL who would abuse their “ethos” and talk about a mission in public, SOFREP, a website that covers national security and US special operations forces,” revealed.

Taylor Swift Harrasment

Taylor Swift discloses that she always moves with her security due to some horrible past experiences.

The American top singer elaborated that man harassed her several times in the past. These horrible past experiences compel her to hire a 24 hours security.

She added that men made every attempt to reach her even through kidnapping which was really horrendous for her.

She unveiled all this in a recent interview for a US magazine. Moreover, she stated that she really wish to live a normal life, therefore she avoided security for several years.  Now it is almost impossible for her to ignore this idea since numerous times men came to her residence in order to kidnap or kill her.

At the beginning of this year, the American pop star asked for a warning order from court against an extremely dangerous man. The man asserted that Taylor Swift is her wife and sent frightening messages to her on Facebook and Twitter.

Furthermore, Taylor expressed that she hated this kind of life in which all the time you feel you are in danger. Hence, she hired security in order to get rid of this scary feeling. The security goes everywhere with her and even sit next to her in the car.

Taylor released a complete album “Red” that was based on her past relationships. It is like a trend of this young singer to show her real life experiences through her songs. Therefore, you never know she might include a track based on harassment as well.
