Google Nexus 6 Review- The most expensive smartphone

November 13, 2014 By Germaine Hicks 4 Comments

Nexus 6 review

Google begin to accept the pre-orders of its most expensive and best Nexus phone.  The company is all set to release the new Nexus 6 on Thursday.

This time Motorola has incorporated a massive display screen in the new Nexus smartphone.  The device comes with a high resolution 5.96 inch, 2560×1440 pixel and 493ppi AMOLED screen. The giant screen compels the smartphone to stand in the row of phablet.  The firm tries to beats all the new phones such as iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with its huge screen. However, it is not an easy task to handle the new Nexus 6 with one hand.

The new Nexus 6 will run on the latest version of Android 5.0 that offers several exciting and alluring new features. The users will get over-the-air update directly from Google for this device.

Moreover, the firm has powered the device with the fastest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. Motorola has included 3200 mAh battery which is the biggest when compared to the other Nexus devices. The unremovable battery promises to run the device for more than one day.

The other features of brand new Nexus 6 are a 13 megapixel rear camera along with optical image stabilization, 2 megapixel front camera, dual front-facing speakers, and storage up to 64 GB.

Furthermore, Motorola offers Motorola Turbo Charge with Nexus that gives the phone 6 hours of battery in a short time period of 15 minutes.

The phone comes with two different price tags according to the storage size. The 32 GB model is available at a cost of $869, whereas a 64 GB model comes at $929.  However, the shipping charges are already included in this high price of the device.  The product is certainly the most expensive smartphone.

Unfortunately, Google introduces the device in merely two colors that are midnight blue and cloud white.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Swiped HTC Features- Hugo Barra Claims

October 29, 2014 By Brian Galloway Leave a Comment

Hugo Barra accuses Apple

Hugo Barra, Xiaomi’s Vice President accused Apple for swiping some features of HTC. He clearly stated that iPhone 6 stole some of the very prominent features of HTC smartphones.

He gave this statement in the Wall Street Journal’s recent conference held at California.

Hugo Barra is a former Googler and current Vice President of Xiaomi. It seems like the man is now fed up of all the defensive statements related to Xiaomi’s products. Earlier, people criticized a lot this China based company that it imitates the features and specs of Apple. Even a large number of people have named the company as “Apple of China”.

The reason behind this statements and accusations are that some of the Xiaomi’s products such as MiPad and Mi4 are quite similar to Apple’s iPhones and iPads. The devices do not even require any kind of special test to prove the similarity. It is pretty evident even with naked eyes.

This time Barra publicly claims that Apple’s latest device iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus contains a design language similar to HTC. He even compared a few of the Android apps and features that appear like iOS’s settings.

Surprisingly, he did not discourage this entire imitating and copying thing of the mobile industry. He stated that the battle of who launches which specs first will never end in the mobile arena. Therefore, if a firm attempts to introduce a better thing with the help of the previous versions of other companies then it is not a big deal.

The outspoken VP expressed that it shows the power and uniqueness of one’s products if the other company copies it.

Moreover, Barra admitted the fact that his engineers and designers are closely examine some of the products of rivals.

Apple Special Event: Watch It Live on 16, October at Official Site!

October 11, 2014 By Germaine Hicks Leave a Comment

apple-special-event-on-october-16

Apple, technology giant recently announces that October 16th event will be a live stream. An American multinational corporation headquartered in Cupertino, California, stated in its live page: “Join us here at apple.com/live on October 16th at 10 a.m. PT to watch our special event live.”

Currently, the web page is displaying the message, “It’s been way too long.”

According to the recent reports, Apple’s special media event will reveal new iPads including new gold model and Macs with a 27-inch model having a high-resolution Retina display along with the Mac OS X Yosemite, the next-generation Mac operating system and Apple Pay on cards.

Moreover, iPad Air believes to be the thinnest tablet ever to hit the market.

The pre-requisite is to have the Safari Web Browser (version 5.1.10) or later on an Apple device and there are certain operating system constraints too, such as your machine should have OS X v10. 6.8 or later, though going by what the website says is that the event will be streamed live at Apple.com.

iPhone and iPad, running at least iOS 6 is needed and you can watch the stream via Apple TV units with second- or third-generation Apple TV software 6.2 or later.

Moreover, the Microsoft Windows and other operating system users can get the opportunity to watch the live stream only via live blog on Apple’s Website that is formerly used by Apple on the 9th Sept event.

The event is going to take place at Apple’s headquarters. The former uproar event of the company was the launch of Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus but the live streaming provided that time was too hitchy and slow. Hoping it works better this time.

Certainly, iPhone 6 live streaming was a disaster, as lots of fans complained that the streaming never worked on the Apple’s devices, though we were meeting the requirements of Safari Browser. This disastrous incident has also given the chance to the Samsung marketing, media team to make fun of live streaming failure.

Apple’s Upcoming Event on October 16 Shows Possibility of the Most-Rumored iPad Air

October 4, 2014 By Rebecca McGhee Leave a Comment

new-ipad-plan-to-launch

Recently, Apple has veiled the launching of its newest iPad that is about to come out possibly on Oct 16th. Moreover, the users are not just puffed up about the iPad that is about to be launched but, the tech giant might be planning to launch its latest OS (Operating System) known as OS X Yosemite and perhaps a new iMac computer too. The upheaval comes out weeks after the launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and the first iWatch showing that Apple is hell curved on achieving immense deeds in 2014.

According to the reports revealed, in the first week of launch, Apple sold 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models. Though, on the other hand, the sale of the present iPad (which was launched back in 2013) starts declining and fanatics wait for the California-based company to endeavor and offset this trend.

The official reports revealed that the latest iPad is coming with the Touch ID fingerprint scanning systems, which is similar that the Apple has been using on its iPhone’s since they launched their earlier model, the iPhone 5S). Well, this seems to be a brilliant add up, particularly since the Apple has been attempting to get users to espouse the Apple Pay mobile payment platform.

In the meanwhile, tech giant states that, there is no better way of compelling users to the payment platform than by integrating touch ID into as many devices as possible.

Certainly, some people are expecting that, tech giant would not be updating its iPad mini and with the launch of iPad Pro, Apple will succeed in pushing back as of the iPad Air launch.

Apple’s Encryption Utility Made It Difficult For The Agencies To Spy Data, US Government

September 28, 2014 By Deborah Nielsen Leave a Comment

apple-encryption

The latest iPhone has encryption technology that will create it very complicated for government agencies to entrance its information and according to the New York Times “all the activities and personal data such as emails, address book, images, phone call records and more will be encrypted to the point that the NSA and further law enforcement agencies will have a very tough time accessing that detail.

It is just because Apple launched the new operating system to its all latest gadgets such as iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch device and once consumers put a pass code, Apple will no longer be capable to unlock your gadget even if ordered to do so by a court, That means if a court order Apple to disclose the contents of a cell phone, all it will be capable to turn over is a set of senseless data.

Apple declares that cracking the code that is exceptional to each user’s phone could take more than five years, although specialists say that underestimates how rapidly agencies can break codes, but it is a fact that that Apple isn’t the first cellular company to encrypt information on a phone, Google’s Android has been capable to do that for years, even if it is not the default setting. But due to the demand of customers the next version of Android will have the encryption as the default.

The director of FBI held a press conference to declare the facts about Apple new operating system, he said that this sort of technology will let people “hold themselves beyond the law and he also states that having such superior privacy protections could obstruct investigations associated with the criminal cases such as murder, kidnappings and more.

Several consumers across the world use virtual personal network apps that make it so their internet use cannot be checked by anyone and the NSA, FBI and other agency’s concern that these types of secretive apps will become very famous soon and make it hard for them to do their investigation jobs.

iOS 8.0.1 Update Fails, Apple Claimed To Release Replacement With 8.0.2: Downgrade In Progress

Apple ensures to Quick iOS 8.0.2 update by the substitute of iOS 8.0.1 update

According to the news, Apple has been forced to remove the first update of iOS 8, just over a week after the release of its newest mobile operating system.
Apple said in an announcement that we have collected reports of a problem with the iOS 8.0.1 update and we are enthusiastically examining these reports and will give information as fast as we can.

The iOS 8.0.1 update was expected at fixing the wireless connectivity, power utilization and other difficulties of iOS 8, but was quiet within hours because of new troubles of its own that is why the company has now assured that it will release iOS 8.0.2 in the “next few days” to repair this trouble and bring back the patches that were believed to come in iOS 8.0.1.

Apple removed its newest operating system because several consumer claims so many problems after downloading the software, as well their iPhones no longer linking to a cellular network, with a note of “no service and iPhone holders also reported problems with Touch ID after downloading the update, with a few noting that the feature, which permits people to unlock their phones using their fingerprints was no longer working.

Apple doesn’t offer an excuse though possibly should, particularly for people who might have installed the update and don’t have the tech know-how to do a full restore to an earlier version of iOS 8 and Apple also informs that after relapsing to iOS 8 you’ll discover that the Health app will no longer work. That’s a reasonable deal for Touch ID and the capability to place phone calls.

But it’s a fact that regardless of any software problems, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus models has sold very quickly and more than 10 million sets were sold in the first weekend of its release, while Apple fans looked excited to pick up one of the two models. Generally, economic analysts think the company will persist, but need to put additional efforts for stable its place.

Fifth Ave Apple Store Full Of Buyers, Lines Are Being Made For The iPhone 6 Lover

September 21, 2014 By Jason Leathers Leave a Comment

hundred-line-up-for-iphone-6

According to the report for The Wall Street Journal, Apple Inc. began sales on Friday of its latest iPhones across the East Coast and Midwest as excited buyers waited in long lines to get their hands on the next iPhone.

For the loyal customer, this time Apple’s iPhone 6 comprises a 4.7-inch touchscreen, while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen, both much bigger than the 4-inch display on its predecessor, the iPhone 5s and the smart phones also launched the cell phone payments service Apple Pay, which lets customers process credit card and other financial transactions with their gadget.

Last Friday Apple opened up pre-orders for the latest iPhones and about 4 million pre-order demands recorded on the first day on Sept. 12, even the night of Thursday before the phones’ introduction; almost 70 people were waiting in line at the front of the Apple store in downtown San Francisco to get the new iPhone 6.

Some excited customers have stayed at the front Apple store on Fifth Avenue in New York so the line of would-be buyers prolonged for more than 10 blocks and Apple workers led them in a New Year’s Eve-style countdown to herald the store’s opening at 8 a.m.

Many people were there so the police were called in before 5:30 a.m. to help with crowd control at one mall place because of worries about crushing or any other unexpected incident.

The reporter said that the excited swarms gathered though signs that Apple’s legendary “cool factor” may be attracted to the consumers, while it has become normal for the crowds of people to welcome Apple product introductions because Friday’s long lines were still an indication of healthy demand for the latest gadgets.

Apple has increased the base cost of its most-expensive model by $100 but the expensive cost hasn’t done much to reduce its public demand and for the bigger iPhone 6 Plus, Apple is charging $749 not including contract, making it the most costly iPhone that the company has ever sold in the past history.

Apple Sold 4M iPhone 6 Units Within 24 Hours

September 16, 2014 By Rebecca McGhee Leave a Comment

Apple-iPhones-In-24-Hours

Apple has declared the news today in a press release that it sold 4 million of its latest iPhone 6 and 6 Plus during their first 24 hours on sale, the large number obviously shows that there was an essential demand for the gadget and also clarifies why some of the phones are now back ordered several weeks.

Apple believed that this is the best ever-selling iPhone launch in the company’s record so if you don’t desire to wait the extra time it now takes after ordering to get your gadget, you can take a chance by visiting an Apple Store on Friday to see if you can obtain your hands on one.

Apple CEO Tim Cook says in an announcement report that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are improved and superior in every way, and we are excited purchasers love them as much as we do, Pre-orders for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus put a new record for Apple, and we can’t wait to get our greatest iPhones yet into the hands of purchasers starting this Friday.

The company also stated that the previous year the company sold 10 million phone gadgets during the first week of launch of the iPhone 5s and 5c and based on the lukewarm response to the colorful 5c, nearly all of those sales expected went to the iPhone 5s and this year the extraordinary sales come after an annoying pre-order process disclosed that iPhone 6 Plus devices appear to be in short supply.

The company declared that the claim for the latest iPhones is going above the first pre-order supply, while a major amount will be conveyed to purchasers beginning on Friday and during September, and  many iPhone pre-orders are planned to be delivered in October. The company further said that both gadgets are thinner than earlier versions, have better cameras and quicker WiFi and, for the first time, propose a mobile payment stage called Apple Pay and the following week, on September 26, Apple will open up sales to 20 further countries in the worldwide.
