The Raspberry Pi 3 Mini-Computer Will Have a Price Tag of Only $35

The Raspberry Pi 3 Mini-Computer Will Have a Price Tag of Only $35The Raspberry Pi 3 mini-computer will have a price tag of only $35. Raspberry is now delivering its Pi 3 system, which has a price tag of only $35 as its forerunner, but it has a better 64-bit processor and has incorporated Wi-Fi abilities.

The small sized computer is almost 60 percent quicker than he previous version, which has been sold in very large numbers. This is the first Raspberry Pi that could be named a real PC alternative, said the company’s’ officials in a brief meeting with the mass media.

A recent PC-class function in Pi 3 comes with Bluetooth 4 and wireless capabilities, which were not incorporated in its forerunners. Wi-Fi interaction was an option that customers wanted in the Pi 3 model after being directed to Ethernet with past versions.

Wi-Fi will help people to build up intelligent home automated and IoT gadgets, according to the experts. Also, a new function is the 64-bit ARM Cortex CPU, which operates at 1.2 GHz. The chip is utilized in cellular phones or even web servers, representing a big update from the 900 MHz Cortex in Pi 2.

The rest of the features have not been modified in Raspberry Pi3, since it still has the HDMI slot, Ethernet, a MicroSD port and four USB connectors. It works on the Broadcom VideoCore GPU that can render 1080p video clips at 60 fps, along with a series of GPIO pins for digicam and screen connections.

More than 200,000 new computer systems will be offered at release and customers will get gadgets in only a few weeks. If the units run out after the preliminary offering, which is a situation that has occurred before, the officials said that customers would wait for a couple of weeks to receive their products.

Approximately 100,000 Pi 3 systems will be produced every week to cover all requests. The Raspberry 3 is suitable for Microsoft Windows 10 OS and various Linux-based platforms, such as Ubuntu. The panel will last for around two years, the company said.

But, if there is a possibility to bring better design or processors speeds in the $30 cost range, Raspberry will proceed and make these improvements, according to the reps. Raspberry has built a huge following since the original computer system was released in 2012.

It has triggered the developments of robots, electronic devices and even of Bitcoin ATMs. However, its Pi 3 could provide a wider set of enhancements to the users, especially with cloud services integrated into the platform, the company said
