After several weeks since Blizzard launched the Overwatch Beta version for a select group of users, they unintentionally “leaked” the launch time frame through an advertisement. The advertisement included many highly anticipated details, so the game’s user base got only a small look at what will arrive in the next future.
The ad shows that Overwatch will start rolling on May 3 and the formal launch day of Blizzard’s game will be May 24. This way, customers who are disappointed that they did not get an opportunity to try out the original Blizzard FPS title will just have to wait for a few weeks.
Surely, after the advertisement was watched by many individuals, it was eliminated, as it seems that the commercial was not scheduled to be launched just yet. Fortunately for us, several users took screen shots and published them on the Internet.
The advertisement showed up on some websites and looked somewhat realistic, but it was only a brief appearance and we cannot definitely know if the details are precise. However, Overwatch would be offered for desktop, PS 4 and Xbox One right after it is formally launched in the market.
Also, the short ad guaranteed early accessibility to Overwatch’s Open Beta that will be offered to those who placed pre-orders for the game. The company formerly said that it is preparing to launch the item sometime during this year; however, no formal declaration has been launched yet.
Of course, it is plausible that this was only a commercial and the schedules regarding it are fictional for the goal of its creation. If the schedules are the actual release dates or not, it is a question that only the company could offer an answer to, but no confirmations were coming from them as users began asking.
As it was already announced, Overwatch would not actually be a free product, as it had been expected, but the charts and figures launched after the item’s release will be totally free, according to various details published until now.
