Last Nov, Pebble made a decision to test and put smart watches on the wrist of more wearable fans. To achieve this goal, the organization started providing its Pebble Time, along with the Steel version, at affordable costs as element of the preliminary Black Friday discount.
Obviously, these price cuts are no longer offered, but the great news for those searching for another chance to purchase a wearable cheaper, is that Pebble permanently cut the costs of its Time and Round versions in the United States by $50.
In addition, the firm also decreased the UK and EU price tags for the other products in the Pebble collection. Pebble Time was initially released on the May 24 2015 with a cost of $200. This was the producer’s first smart watch to have the LED backlights in 64 colors and on an e-paper screen.
It rocked a 144 by 168 resolution, resulting in a decent pixel density of approximately 182 ppi. It also incorporates the Li-Ion energy pack ranked at around one week of regular utilization, which is a feature you hardly receive from these days’ Pebble Time wearables.
Following the latest cost cut, Pebble’s Time model is now sold in the United States for only $150. As for its Time Round version, the watch is mostly operating on the same hardware as Pebble Time, presenting the LED-backlit e-paper display identical to the company’s rectangle-shaped design.
However, it is compromising some battery power, rated at only a couple of days, in exchange of a slimmer case and probably a more stylish, lightweight design. The Round edition was initially listed for pre-ordering in Sept at the cost of $250.
Now, potential buyers living in the United States can purchase the watch for just $200. Pebble also presented some “improved price tags” for its Pebble Time wearables available in England and the rest of European countries, with lower cost of even 30 percent for all timepieces.
The Time Round model is listed with the latest price of €230, while Pebble Time is currently costing €170. The offer appears in online, but also in physical stores. However, these price tags can be a bit different based on each country. Anyway, these drastic cuts in costs expenses are long lasting in all places so people will not have to fear about buying them fast before their discounts end.
