While most people make efforts to buy Christmas trees and Christmas light installations, Richie Riches have just posted Twitter pics of the world’s most expensive Christmas decorations. As one might expect, the pics have soon circled the Internet causing regular Internet users to go into a frenzy.

It is clear by now that some people have so much money that they don’t even know what to make of it. They often choose to spend it on useless and sometimes incredibly ugly objects that most people would never purchase. This is exactly what happened with this year’s Twitter list of the world’s most expensive Christmas decorations.

  1. £475-worth Reindeer Mince Cake

Supply and demand rules claim people would pay trice the same amount of money to satiate one of their physiological needs. This is the only explanation we could find for the overestimated value that high-society has set for these Christmas cookies, regardless of the real ruby on Rudolf’s nose or not. Figures don’t seem to be justified as all Twitter users have stated.

  1. £1,000 Swarovski Wrapping Paper

Here is a nice way to let someone down, or at least a very rich person. You buy a not-so-expensive present and you wrap it in the world’s most expensive Christmas wrapping paper made entirely out of Swarovski crystals. Either way, people would be surprised. Surprised that someone would actually spend so much money on a piece of paper that will end up shredded anyway.

  1. £10,000 Christmas Baubles

Imagine going into Warren Buffett’s house on Christmas Eve to see a small artificial Christmas tree with handmade decorations and homemade cookies. If that is not a schocker than I don’t know what is. That is why rich people pay £10,000 to get their Christmas bauble in the exact shape and color they want, Versace design included. Yet, Twitter folks think none of it is actually worth, especially since you can’t eat any of this Christmas tree decorations.

  1. £22,950 Mushroom-Shaped USB Stick

It’s not just the house or the car that have to be decorated for Christmas. Even the smallest objects matter like smartphones and USB sticks. You can’t prove you’re a member of the high society unless you disguise your USB stick into a £22,950-worth mushroom case. Wealthy people will argue that the precious jewels on top of the case are worth every penny; yet, Twitter users’ mocking comments might get them to reconsider their opinion.

  1. £616,000 Tree Topper

Tree toppers are the most important parts of the Christmas décor and there is nothing that wealthy people won’t give to have the shiniest stars on top of their Christmas trees. In fact, Forbes’ 500 richest people would pay a staggering sum of £616,000 as long as they know that their tree topper is made out of glitter-looking jewels. Sure, Twitter users were not very impressed, the majority have agreed that it looks like a child’s homemade tree topper.

Even though they exceed most people’s Christmas budgets, there is always new inspiration you can find on our list of the world’s most expensive Christmas decorations. Before you judge these people and their money spending choices too harsh, it is worth knowing that the raised money will be donated for charitable purposes.
