The miraculous treatment relieves low back pain in only 10 minutes
Plenty of people struggle with chronic low back pain, which prevents them from performing even the most basic activities. However, a team of researchers from Sapienza University in Rome discovered a miraculous treatment which can relieve this kind of pain in only 10 minutes.
Low back pain affects a huge number of people
Low back pain is one of the most common afflictions among adults, as about 80 percent of people struggle with it at least once during their lifetime. Usually, this kind of pain doesn’t last for long. However, it can sometimes turn into a long-term one, affecting people for more than a year. At this stage, the pain is already chronic.
Therefore, the researchers wanted to find a quick and effective method to relieve low back pain. This method uses short pulses of radiofrequency which are guided by images. By administering in the area of the lower back and of the sciatica, the patient should start feeling better in only 10 minutes.
This method uses only energy to treat the source of pain
Most of the times, the low back pain is caused by a disk between the vertebrae which is herniated and pushes on the nerves. When this happens, the pain can reach the legs, preventing the patient from performing everyday activities. Therefore, researchers decided to intervene on these disks.
With the help of a CT scan, they introduced a needle towards the disk in question, also reaching the area of affected nerves. Afterwards, they administered the radiofrequency pulses through the needle for 10 minutes. When the treatment was done, the low back pain was solved without the need to directly touch the disk or the nerves.
This solution is truly miraculous, as it only uses energy to treat the common affliction. It didn’t cause any kind of damage on the nerves or the vertebral disks, and helped people get rid of the debilitating pain and return to their regular activities. Moreover, this treatment was effective for people who didn’t respond to the traditional therapies for low back pain.
