twitter tweetdeckFor many users, TweetDeck represents one of the more effective and widely used Twitter apps for the Windows platform. These days, the micro blogging site has declared that it would soon end its assistance for the service, leaving people with only the web application.

But, the Mac edition of TweetDeck will not be affected, staying in the app collection for the future. The company has not offered a precise reason for why they are taking down TweetDeck for MS Windows. It only stated that the move is being performed to better concentrate on improving clients’ TweetDeck experience.

Nevertheless, the news that it released the latest edition of its Twitter app for Windows 10 probably resulted in this decision. As pointed out previously, in addition to this new app there is the web edition of TweetDeck, which customers can open from MS Windows.

This provides a similar level of performances as the previous app. Moreover, the service was enhanced to make its move from Windows a lot smoother. If users are signed into Twitter, its web app can instantly log them in, so they are not required to insert other personal information.

The site has been focusing on facilities tasks like this in order to make sure that they have a reliable base to keep enhancing TweetDeck over time, according to the company. There are also other great methods to pin the TweetDeck app on people’s Windows task bar, so they can gain faster accessibility to this web app.

This can be performed by selecting the customize feature and control, more options and then simply clicking the Add to task bar key. TweetDeck’s edition for the Windows platform will not be supported from Apr 15 and it seems that the service has been drawn from the official web page.

The company does not state whether people who are now utilizing it would still be capable to do it after that date. Of course, Windows customers will be allowed to go to TweetDeck on their site, but nothing is modified about the service itself, just the location from where people open it from, the officials have written.

Twitter bought TweetDeck five years ago, developing the app that many believed would be stopped after the acquisition. In 2013, the micro blogging platform ended its assistance for TweetDeck’s Android and iOS applications, along with the service’s Facebook incorporation.

Instead of these, the online-based dashboard received an improvement with new functions and a modified appearance besides the new tweet board, during the summer season of 2013. Twitter customers, meanwhile, can take comfort in this week’s upgrade, which makes it much easier to change between the pc TweetDeck program and its website.
