Verizon has not always been US’ quickest cellular system during software upgrades for Android mobile phones. However, in the last months the service provider has started to treat these enhancements in a more serious manner compared to the past updates.
This week, the company allegedly released the Android Marshmallow 6.0 version for Droid Turbo 2. Today, the nation’s biggest Wi-Fi provider has declared that they have begun the Marshmallow upgrade procedure for Samsung’s Note 5.
Via a press release on the official site, the service carries said that the next upgrade will optimize system efficiency, take care of known problems and apply its newest security packs. The phone has received Android Marshmallow 6.0 in some Asian countries in Feb, so it is not surprising at all that the recent platform is now lastly appearing stateside.
Their new ROM arrives with a better software edition and developments for the gadget. Apart from this newest version of the operating system, the upgrade will also set up the best security patches for Samsung’s leading phablet last year.
The upgrade is downloadable over either cellular network or Wi-Fi, but Verizon suggests that users must ensure that the phone’s battery pack is completely charged up before beginning the upgrade process. This, of course, represents the standard method of setting up and configuring updates on all mobile phones.
When it comes to a part of the developments that are introduced with the latest software, the company says that its upgrade delivers a better look of the product along with wireless contacting and enhancements to live broadcasts.
Along with regular Marshmallow option such as doze, Now on Tap, Sleep or App Permissions administrator, the Android update also offers voice calls for voice customers or live broadcasts developments, as previously said. In the meantime, Amazon’s Appstore will allegedly be eliminated from the system once the latest version is set up.
The upgrade will be available for downloading at the end of this week, so people who want to get it will probably be notice very soon. The Note 5 phablet was presented by the company in Aug 2015. This is the initial Galaxy phone from Verizon that receives the Marshmallow upgrade, which contains firmware developments, additional functions and a better appearance for the gadget.
