Google’s navigation application Waze owns a variety of stand apart functions, such as its capability to aware users about traffic conditions or speed blocks, and redirect them around congested zones, for instance, but its interface did not represent one of the better features. Nowadays, the search engine is trying to modify this disadvantage with the release of an entirely renewed edition of its iOS program that presents a better, less-cluttered customer interface. The improved app is developed to make simpler the access to Waze’s main functions, and reduce the time it requires to review traffic issues.
While conventional mapping software, like apps used by Google and Apple, remain the most well known for the majority of smart phone owners, Waze has built a powerful user base among people who frequently use means of transportation due to its capability to inform them about traffic conditions.
Besides just informing drivers that traffic is now slower, Waze will also present the reasons why: it could be a car incident in front of them or a delayed automobile. People like the app for its feature to aware them when police has been identified close by, this being something that turns Waze into a substitute for a radar detector.
In addition, its option to guide drivers around slow or jammed traffic, simultaneously with the changes in traffic, is especially beneficial, as its feature to allow the user to add stops while creating the best route.
Despite having its selection of useful functions, the application’s interface has required improvements for a while. Instead of the modern and fresh visual elements, Waze formerly was based on a number of choices: one with the cartoonish car symbol to use the primary menu and another map with pin-shaped symbols and the exclamation point in is center to signal traffic incidents. Even more, the map was unclear and messy, being difficult to study it.
With this new model of the application, Waze provides a less crowded map, making the notification function more popular among users: an orange with a circular pin. The auto icon to access the menu or other configurations has been moved to the lower-left part of the screen. When drivers are rushing, since they are not expected to use the application in traffic but many do it anyway, this option makes it much easier and quicker to join in their Waze group, because it is clear which key to use to add a review.
In inclusion, the modified app now has fast accessibility to a connection area, as shown by the email package symbol, where people can discuss guidelines with their group, signal their location and traffic conditions with a simple click.
