Due to the multitude of online pass time activities that we are presented with at the moment, we are always obligated to make a choice between having some fun in the sun and staying home and playing an amazing computer game or watching the latest episode of our favorite TV show.
And since most of the time we seem to choose to cozy up in bed with out laptops and tablets, we are clearly not spending enough time outdoors, which has a tremendous influence on our physical and mental health.
Spending too much time indoors means we aren’t enough fresh air and that we’re clearly not getting enough vitamin D, which is crucial to our health. And while taking vitamin supplements is always an option for compensating this deficiency, the natural way remains much healthier, much cheaper and much more helpful to us.
Going outdoors to and from work or school is not enough time spent outside. And since our vacations are too short for our own good, it is extremely important that we make an effort to introduce some outdoor activities at least a couple of times a week.
Evening walks could prove to be extremely relaxing and maybe even romantic, and weekend trips might just provide you with the energy you need for an entire week.
