What Do We Know about Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy Phones?

Galaxy_S7_EdgeWhat do currently know about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy phones? Like the majority of other sectors, tech industry usually closes over the holiday season. However, it appears that Samsung’s workers do not make a very good job while taking care of their workplace’s security because the leaked images arrive at a fast pace.

Now, after the Galaxy’s S7 launch time frame, style and new function details fans find out extra information about not just one, but a pair of different size phones. According to the South Korean sources, Samsung wants to modify the display dimension of both the conventional and phablet S7 versions.

The regular Galaxy S7 could arrive with a bigger 5.2” screen, this being the first major modification in the last three years, and is designed under its codename ‘HERO1’. In the meantime, an increased 5.5” Galaxy S7, which is probably the rumored S7 Plus, may come with other important features that will make it the number one phablet in 2016.

Remarkably, the new Information says that Samsung’s Edge versions will have identical display sizes. This means a difference of only 0.4” between the Edge+ and regular Edge models, in comparison to the current 0.6” difference.

In many people’s opinion, the decreased dimension size threats the sales of these two smart phones that may cannibalize one another. This news also goes against the speculation that the Samsung S7 Plus may actually be even larger, previous released images showing a whooping 6” design.

The 5.7” mark is the optimum size for this phablet, together with the 5.1” design for the regular model of Galaxy Edge. If the South Korean giant indeed wants to shrink its flagship gadgets, then the 5.5” iPhone 6S Plus probably played a key role in this design change.

Further misunderstandings could also regard the two different processors, maybe for different selling regions, in these versions, while the Note 6 released later in 2016 could complicate Samsung marketing campaign even more.

However, the company may get rid of its Note series idea and of this idea would have been impossible some time ago, it is currently feasible considering that the Note 5’s worldwide launch was considerably restricted in 2015.

If the Note’s production is discontinued, a new Samsung concept will appear as it goes away from productivity and functionality, by gradually removing extended storage, detachable battery, stylus pen and larger phablet sizes.

Instead, just like its main competitor Apple, it will focus on top quality, daily devices and bigger income with fewer products. This certainly upsets Apple, but the new production strategy also paves the way for competitors to concentrate on once-loyal users thanks to whom Samsung’s rise to top was built.
