During the Xenoblade Chronicles conference, Nintendo has made an exciting announcement for Zelda fans. The latest game in the franchise, Breath of the Wild, will get some exclusive new content. All Zelda enthusiasts will be able to jump right into a new side quest, and enjoy a skillful crossover with the upcoming Switch exclusive.
Breath of the Wild gets Xenoblade Chronicles-inspired content
The new content will become available starting with November 9th. On this date, all fans will be able to explore this new mission, while taking advantage of an exclusive new outfit for Link. As soon as they start the mission, the game will automatically unlock the outfit inspired from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and its main character, Rex.
What is even better about this Breath of the Wild update is the fact that everyone can benefit from it. Both the outfit and the new quest will be available for free, so all players who are looking for new things to do in the Zelda game can enjoy it with no effort.
The second Xenoblade Chronicles game will also feature a DLC
However, Nintendo didn’t think only about Zelda fans, as several surprises await Xenoblade Chronicles fans as well. These months should bring some more content on this game, as well as a few extra quests. As soon as the second game in the series is launched, it should receive a DLC, just like Breath of the Wild.
Also, as time goes on, new items will gradually enter the game and become available for download. However, they might have to wait until they get significant additions to the story. The outline of the schedule indicates that this should happen next year during autumn.
However, it’s good to know that, as soon as Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is launched, Nintendo will offer its original voice track for free download. Therefore, if you want to get into the atmosphere and make everything feel original, you can hear the characters speak Japanese.
