Chinese computer producer Lenovo declared that it will launch the Yoga 900, a gadget that can be utilized conventional laptop, a tablet and propped-up show. This hybrid device has a metalized body that protects the modern sixth-gen Intel i5 and i7 Skylake chip. This model of processor first started to be delivered with gadgets by Microsoft and Dell earlier this month, with Intel’s guarantee of better efficiency together with a lower power intake.
The gadget’s dual-core processors have been created particularly for performing in hybrid systems, like the new Yoga 900, which do not have integrated fans to cool its CPU. The company’s hybrid device comes with 16 GB of storage and can be enhanced with 512GB SSD’s and stereo audio systems. The screen is 13″ in size and is accompanied by a bigger keyboard and an improved track pad than past Yoga models.
It is more solid than other designs, as well – with a weight of just 2.8 lbs and a thickness of almost 15 mm, but it offers a longer battery power of around 8 hours of continuous use, a significant enhancement over its predecessor Yoga 3 Pro with only 7 hours.
The hybrid comes with Microsoft Windows 10 already set up on it, making the best use of its working Continuum function that allows quick changes between tablet mode and keyboard. The device has been offered for online selling since Thursday, with a price of $1,200 for a great platform design available in orange, silver and gold versions.
The company also announced its Yoga Home 900, a new all-in-one PC that can be set up with hinges or simply lying on a desk. This model will be sold later in October and is priced at $1,500.
Lenovo has usually gotten positive opinions in recent years for the Yoga series of devices, mixing great performances with smooth design and a modern mechanism that lets customers fold the gadget in any way they want it. Still, its best field of activity is still represented by the ThinkPad series of laptop computers.
While its Yoga devices do well in European countries and the United States, it is less successful in Chinese regions, a marketplace where many Lenovo gadgets surpass their opponents. The producer is constantly improving its ThinkPad segment of laptops, since these are the organization’s biggest source of revenue.
