Alaska Airlines Flight Delayed as Man Refused to Leave Bathroom
When it comes to flights being canceled or delayed, we are more than sure that the list of reasons is almost without an end. However, how would you feel if a flight attendant told you that your holiday/business trip/family reunion would be delayed for a couple of more hours on account of a passenger refusing to leave the bathroom?
As unlikely as it might sound, the passenger boarding the Wednesday Alaska Airlines flight from Anchorage to Seattle have had the dubious pleasure of waiting around for the authorities to step in and arrest a rowdy individual who wouldn’t leave the bathroom.
According to Kate Danyluk, one of the passengers who were on the plane, she and the rest of the passengers knew that something was amiss, as the flight attendants kept making trips to the back of the plane.
The woman said that, at one point, she saw several flight attendants going to the plane’s bathroom with blue gloves on. After a couple of minutes, the passengers were announced that the pilot is turning the plane around to Anchorage.
Upon arriving at the airport, law enforcement officers boarded the plane and arrested someone who was inside the bathroom. According to the official police report, after the plane took off, a passenger barricaded himself inside the bathroom, took off his clothes, and refused to come out, despite the staff’s orders.
The man was removed from the Alaska Airlines flight, but it’s unclear whether charges were pressed.
