A study unveils that the HPV Vaccination does not arouse additional sexual needs in the young girls.

The researchers of McGill University carried out a study to determine the impact of HPV vaccine on teenage girls.

A few months ago, U.S Center for Disease Control and Prevention suggest all young boys and girls to get three HPV shots. These shots protect girls from the virus that causes most cervical cancers. The vaccine also save people from numerous different kinds of virus strains like health problems like anal, penile, cervical and throat cancer.

Earlier, a few researchers propose that these kinds of vaccine give a fake sense of security related to the sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Dr. Leah Smith, the main author of the study stated that the result of the analysis propose cleared the misconception regarding the HPV vaccines. It evidently demonstrates that HPV shot does not increase the risky sexual behavior in young girls.

Researchers accumulated and closely examined the data of around 260,000 girls.  The experts kept an eye on these girls till grade 12. Afterwards, they concluded that merely 6 percent of girls became pregnant between Grade 10 to Grade 12.

Dr. Linda Levesque, senior author of the study informed that HPV vaccinations and other programs do not ascend the hazards of pregnancy in girls aged between 14-11 years.

The study is 200 times relatively larger as compared to all the previous reports. In this research, experts followed the girls for a long time period.

The report is printed in detail in the Canadian Medical Association Journal
