The hackers of Sony Pictures Entertainment refused to give back the stolen data to the company.
On 24th of November, the group addressed the employees of Sony Picture Entertainment. Hackers asked them to tell their names along with their designation if they want to secure their data. The hackers released the post o file sharing website Pastebin and Friendpaste.
Sony do not have the slightest idea how many employees forwarded their personal information to the hackers.
Unfortunately, the hacking group published the personal information of numerous executives of Sony Pictures Entertainment. The data also contain the confidential emails of the higher officials and celebrities.
Sony officially admitted that the hackers have stolen a large amount of data. The firm provides employees a 12 month of identity protection service without any cost.
On this weekend, GOP sent another message which includes numerous links. The links shows the sites on which hackers leaked the recent data. Additionally, the group promised that soon it will release a large amount of data. Hackers said that the data would be a Christmas gift for the fans of Sony.
Jim Lewis, the director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies commented that hacker thinks that they are protected from every kind of retaliation. The way they are handling everything shows how much well-organized they are.
