Researchers of the U.S Defense Department designed a new bullet that can change direction in mid-flight.
A team of researchers joined together with Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to form the bullet. It was developed as a part of the project known as Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordinance. (EXACTO).
The researchers of EXACTO notify that the bullet will increase the protection of the troop. It will decrease the target engagement timelines.
The new bullet will allow military soldiers to effortlessly shoot the opponent in hiding places. It has the ability to travel relatively faster as compared to the other ordinary bullets. Additionally, it can ensure the accuracy of the bullets in places where weather is usually breezy.
The authorities believe that these bullets would be extremely useful for snipers. They can easily hit the shots which are usually considered as impossible.
However, the scientists refused to unveil the entire system of the bullet. It merely informs that the mechanism functions with the combination of a maneuverable bullet along with a guidance system. The ability of bullet to change course during the flight would be extremely helpful to tackle the unexpected factors.
Undoubtedly, the idea of such kind of bullet is really surprising for everyone. Earlier, people used to think that these tools are merely accessible in movies.
On the flip side, ISIS terrorist began to worry shortly after the invention of this novel technology.
