Researchers discovered a frozen mummy of a Bison priscus which is also known as Steppe bison. The mummy is approximately 9,300 years old.
Society of Vertebrate Paleontology informed that it is the only complete frozen mummy found in the entire history.
The mummy was unearthed from Yana Indigirka Lowland located in Eastern Siberia. Later on, experts carried out a necropsy in order to find out the exact age and life style of that animal.
